A New Story screening in Ajax, a big hit
The Town of Ajax and Ajax Public Library hosted an evening to screen A New Story along with a panel discussion at St. Francis Centre in Ajax, for International Day For Persons With Disabilities. It was a really great event, and we’re so pleased with how it all came together. Thanks to all of the city and library staff who made it all happen.
This was the first time all of the films in the mini-series were screened together for an audience, and from the feedback we’ve received, we can tell it was very impactful. The discussions after the screening were equally as engaging. It’s really amazing to have had such a great opportunity to tell these stories and discuss these issues at an event like this where we are out there really engaging with the community. We hope to do this much more over the coming months before we release the films more widely at some point in 2025.
See below for some photos from the evening.
