Echoes in Steel was nominated for best short documentary at the Yorkton Film Festival, and I had the pleasure of attending the festival to experience the festivities first-hand. Here is proof: a picture of me enjoying the first industry panel, having just stupidly bought a coffee downstairs before realizing the festival had provided coffee for us. 

We’re excited to share that My Dad’s Tapes is now airing on TVO as part of the broadcaster’s spring documentary lineup, with its television premiere taking place on Father’s Day. The film is currently broadcasting on TVO’s digital cable network and is also available to stream on TVO and YouTube within Canada.

Some of our recent work for Trent University has received some awards from the prestigious Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education Prix d’Excellence awards. Educational institutions look to these awards every year to find recognition for the best work across the field. It’s great to receive recognition for our work on these two films, and the Making Strides series for Trent:

Always a highlight of my year, being based in Peterborough, is the local documentary film festival Reframe Film Festival. Once again Outsideinside has sponsored the festival, and as part of that, I edited together the festival trailer for the festival. Check it out below!
