Echoes in Steel premieres
I am excited to announce the premiere of my new short documentary Echoes in Steel, a 14 minute film which I began shooting in October, and which was just completed in time for Reframe International Film Festival.
Making the film was an impulsive decision that came out of span of time where there was a bit of a lull in activity for me engaging in the filmmaking craft on my own terms after a busy year of commissioned projects, and working on distribution for My Dad’s Tapes, as well as working on early stage development of several other projects with larger scopes. So I was feeling like I just wanted to make something. When I saw Garrett post online about the scrapyard closing, I thought there could be a film in it… and now here we are.
The film is premiering at Reframe International Film Festival January 30th, and hopefully some other festivals in the near future.

As I mentioned, I’ve got a few other exciting projects in the works, so stay tuned for more to come with this film, and more!

We are so pleased with how the community has engaged with the films with in-person and virtual screenings since they were released, and now they’re all available on our youtube channel, where hopefully they’ll pick up a bit of steam and find new audiences.
